In a world that can sometimes make people feel like numbers, we wanted to create a place where everyone feels valued, protected, and truly seen.

We built Twota with love, for love, and we believe meaningful connections should always be accessible to everyone. That's why Twota is and will always be free.

Every great story begins with a name.

Twota (pronounced "Two-Ta") brings together the English word "Two" and the Farsi word "Ta" ( تا ). Together, they represent a pair, a couple, two hearts coming together.

The name reflects the heart of our mission:

"Where two hearts become one beautiful story."

Twota was born from the hearts of two dreamers in British Columbia, Canada, in 2022, and officially launched its beta version in 2025 under Twota Technologies Inc.

What began as a small dream has become a place where real connections can grow beyond the screen.

We know Twota isn't the first platform created to bring people together. But every day, we strive to make it kinder, safer, and more thoughtful than it was yesterday.

Wholeheartedly, we believe that if Twota helps even two people find love, friendship, or simply feel truly seen, then every moment we've poured into it has been worth it.
